About The club

The Elkhorn Legion Baseball program consists of 3 teams – a reserve, junior and senior team from Elkhorn High. There is one board that manages the organization and the facilities. Whether it’s beautiful Frerichs Legion Field in downtown Elkhorn, we take great pride in our facilities and believe that we have one the finest ballpark in the State of Nebraska.

A great deal of effort goes into our facilities each year and we would like to thank our coaches, parents and players for all of their hard work in keeping our facilities in tip-top shape. We are also deeply indebted to the generous support of advertisers and donors, we ask that you give them your patronage and thank them for supporting Elkhorn Legion Baseball.

We would like to thank our dedicated coaching staff for their efforts throughout the year. They have the major challenge of not only coaching the game of baseball, but also teaching our sons valuable life lessons.

We would also like to thank our board members and parent volunteers that manage the day-to-day operations, including finances and budget fundraising efforts, facilities, concessions, and much more. There is so much more to the Legion baseball program and the 10-week summer season. Our volunteers work year-round to create this successful program and ensure an amazing baseball experience for our sons.

Our Mission:

To give all Elkhorn high school youth the opportunity to play baseball with the highest focus on development of the player, while teaching fundamental values of commitment, fair play, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Elkhorn Legion Post 211 is a non-profit, parent and volunteer led organization with the goal to provide a safe baseball environment and to strive to compete at the highest level in play, facilities and support of our community and the young men that participate in the program.
